I tried posting a picture of the bumper/brush guard I'm referring to but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to . The LR3 I am thinking about purchasing has a factory bumper guard with driving lights on it. It is the the one which looks like it is made of plastic square stock. I was wondering how they are mounted ,through the bumper or attached to the under carriage somehow. I really don't care for the looks of it and I was hoping removing it wouldn't leave holes in the bumper and scuff makes as well.

That particular guard has two designs, one has holes throught the front and then through the bumper cover and through the bar. Second design mounts with a bracket @ top and bottom on the cover top. Either way, there will be some holes. Directions for both are found @ www.ownerinfo.landrover.com for more detail than you might care for.

If you buy it and want to get rid of it, PM me. I'm looking to add both that bumper and the lights. The holes are pretty small, and could be plugged pretty easily I would think.

I am eventually selling mine to replace it all with an ARB Bullbar; but I'm not sure when I will do that...I still really like the stock look. What is it worth on the aftermarket, anyway?

Thanks for the link. So there will be holes, any ideas on how to cover them up? The front end is my favorite part of the vehicle so I will definitely be taking it off. I will sell the guard and let you know asap. Thanks for all the help.

After I sold my brush bar I was left with the holes also. I capped them off with
ordinary bar stool plugs/feet. You can find them at most hardware stores.

Those look like the two holes left from the brush bar/metal one, like this.

If you remove the A Frame bar pictured above, you will be left with 4 smaller holes - two on each side where the bolts go through the bumper to the frame at the bottom. Here's a close up of one side where you can see the position of the two holes.
