Took my LR4 in bc of a suspension fault alert. (I couldn't get a fault to readout on my devices.)

My usual mechanic said the code on his device said the suspension air was coming in too fast, meaning there might be dirt keep the inlet open, etc.

I've not experienced any change in the suspension. Goes up and down no problem. No noises etc. This motor was replace five years ago when a AAA guy damaged it changing a tire.

He wanted to replace the Suspension Control Module for $830, but it wasn't a guarantee it would work. Not feeling like a ***** that day, i told him to wait.

Any ideas?
Thanks
S

Sorry, just getting around to it. The code is C1A18. The fault warning pops up intermitently. No problems with the car's suspension performance so far.

Do I need to replace the rvh000095?

Thanks

If your old compressor was a Hitachi. The chassis control module will have to be reconfigured for the new compressor.

I'm not sure what I have now. The OEM one was broken by a AAA guy, then my shop put in this Arnott, and finally I switched out with a random chinese one.

With the gap tool you can see what the RLM module is flashed with (Hitachi or AMK), I suggest trying the alternative from it's current setting. I had a different issue but applying the correct firmware fixed all my issues; here's the thread where I document my journey:
