LR4 Supercharger

Hello All!
So my LR4 blew up and im searching for a replacement engine. Currently stationed in Germany, and the closest motor is $12,000. WAY TO MUCH.
I have been looking at the jaguar 5.0SC.
Hear me out and let me know what you think.
Get the motor from a Jag ($5k)
ECU from a range rover SC ($300)
the ecu also has the keys,ect.

Is there any difference except the ECU?

Sorry to hear about your engine. Beyond being able to fit the engine and getting it to play nice with an LR4, do we know that the drive train can handle the extra power?

I know the RRS is based on the LR4, but I don't to what extent. If they (petrol V8 LR4 & petrol V8 RRS) share drive train components and the RRS & RRS SC share the same drive train, then you are probably good at least in that department.

There’s an active foam on this and I believe the issue their having is with the immobilizer for the Range Rover sc engine

FYI oil pans are different. I’ve swapped a SC engine out of a jag into a RRS SC. Couple of other differences, everything else is swapp-able, but plan on digging into the new engine.
