Mistery Connector

So I just replaced the battery on my 2011 LR4 HSE (thanks to Umberto for the tip about the Sears AGM group 49!). Things went well, but as I removed the old battery, I saw this connector seemingly "dangling" from the wiring harness that connects to the positive post on the battery (see pic attached).

Does anybody know where this thing should connect to?
