I have a 2005 LR 3 SE that I love but am putting it up for sale anyway. About two months ago, the rear, upper hatch started unlocking itself. I've taken it into Fields, the local Madison WI Land Rover dealer twice and they couldn't figure it out apparently.
I brought it home last night and all was well, or at least I thought it was. I came out into the garage and opened the passenger side rear door and heard the familure click, click of the rear hatch unlocking again. Keep in mind that the car is off.
I open the rear hatch, slam the door and all is well again. I light up my cigar, cause that's the only place you can smoke one now, in the garage and about 20 minutes later, there it goes again, click, click.
It's possesed and the best I get out of Land Rover is a lubed trunk latch.
Any suggestions?
