MY2013 - Order Now to Get the V8

I'm in San Diego, CA. and all the dealers here say the engine and interior changes to the LR4 won't be until 15. So confidently that they won't place an order for a 13' for me. They tell me to order my 14' now....

They are probably out of allocations for '13 and are keeping the conversation going.

I'm in the Boston area and was able to get $2000 off MSRP on our 2013 HSE LUX order with sat radio & heavy duty package. (after lots of negotiating) Just read in Car & Driver that the 2014 LR4 will get the supercharged V6 instead of the V8. V6 also comes with an 8-speed transmission, but I really can't complain about the 6-speed. Cruising at 85mph & 2200 rpm's, the LR4 engine is very quiet.

My dealership said the same thing, but I guess until we actually see the 2014s released - who knows what will happen.

When (and if) I move back to Boston, we have to create a Land Rover club! So many Boston area guys on here.
