I will be ordering my new tires in approximately 90 minutes. Should I go with which of the following sizes and why?

255/60/18

or

265/60/18

The question is not the size but what do you intend to do with the rig?? (Then look at the different tires and what sizes they come in)

agreed, what are you going to do with it? That said I would go for the 265/60/18 which is a larger tire and offers some good tire options for on and offroad. Such as the cooper tire which a lot of people are running.

I decided to go with the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 265/60 18. I purchased these at Discount Tires, they priced matched tires-easy.com. Total coast out the door including installation, valve, balance and tax was $636.00.

how do the hankooks compare to open country and scorpian for us mostly on-road, wanna start some off-road kinda guys?
is there much difference between 260's and 265's?

I did a tremendous amount of research on tires for the LR3 this past weekend. The Hankook's seem to be the best all-around value for tires for the LR3. Look at this review:

This particular size that you purchased (265/60 /18) is load rated 109 only .Not to impressive.

so what do you think min load should be? 110? what about speed rating?
Both the TOYO AT and Hancook RF110 @ 60R are LI of 109 and go to 112 @ 65R
