How much fuel tank pressure should a 96 Disco have? Every time I go to remove the gas cap to fill up I get a rather noticable hissing noise ( negative vacuum?) I know that the fuel tank pressurizes, but is it supposted to have such a strong vacuum? It has done it since I bought it, so I can't compare to previos performance. I am now wondering about a blocked line or vent? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Mine does that (1) After long drives (2) With low fuel amounts (3) When it's sat for a few days and then refilled.

I think it's normal. It's never been an issue with my truck's starting or operating.

Thanks.........It is a bit more comforting to know that it is a common issue. Any words of support for the next time I go to the pumps to fill up!!!!!!
