Hi All,

thanks to some of your interest(s), I got a LR3.

I love it, completely worth it!

Some guy traded this one in for a Porsche Cayenne. He spent $$$ in options and accessories. Dealer Sticker was 57,535. I got it with less than 19K on the ODO for 24,850. has remainder of factory warranty. I got a 5YR/100k warranty too.

Plans are now to find trails and overland adventures. I would like to get:

in order of purchase

MTR's
Ladder -G4
Bike Rack, hitch mounted
Roof top tent www.autohome.us "Columbus Carbon"
Fuel Can/ w/ holder
Extended Range or Auxiliary Fuel Tank
Block Heater
Winch
ARB Bull Bar
Snorkel -G4

Any help finding some of these accessories would be greatly appriciated.
Additionally I am looking for Trails that lead to Camp Sites, not your typical RV camp ground types..

I love it, completely worth it

Nice find (as previously stated) get some good shoes on her first. You may want to look over the site for options I went with the bfg ta/ko wanted the mtr but with a family these were better on road and had the severe snow rating. Do you have much wind noise with the rack and lights on the interstate?

Yes, it makes a mild amount of noise. I keep the sunroof shut so it's subtle. Over 60MPH it''s slightly louder. The trade-off is not detrimental, and it IS removable.

Tires: from my research 19 HSE wheels, our only option is the MTR. otherwise find used 18" ones somewhere else ( off like a guy who bought 22") and get Hankooks or Slient Armours.

USED 18" LR3 rims ~400 for 5, with some patients shooping
Tires x5 ~750

total ~1150

or Stock 19" w/ MTR x 5 ~1500

Your milage/money may vary, but you get the picture, 18's w/ some patience will open up to great and potentially less expensive tires.
