Hi I am in the process of buying my first Freelander Hardtop. it is a MY2000
I have been told disasterous tales about how unreliable and costly they are, how true is it? Despite that I am still going ahead with the purchase.
I lived in UK but due to work have now moved to Malta to live, the roads are terrible out here, there are more potholes than in a mountain district.
I am importing a Freelander to Malta from UK because it is a lot cheaper method than buying one in Malta. Then I will drive it accross the continenys to Malta, Hopefully. I have been told it probably will not make it so far.
Anyway, Hi to everyone on the forum and hope to be gaining some knowledge from ya all.

Welcome to the forum, as long as you don't buy a petrol version you will be better off. AVOID the petrol version at all costs.
