Not to make fun of other LR owners...but have you read some of the posts for LR3 and RRs?

I'm glad us Disco owners have our own unique set of (many) problems and we don't have to worry about more power for our supercharged 400 HP HSEs and getting our LR3s dirty during ski season.

Sorry, had to bring it up.

Agreed, there is definately a difference between Disco 1, 2, and LR3 owners. I think the owners have gotten more and more watered down, not in a bad way, but that more and more 'average' people buy Land Rover these days. It used to be just a rich person ride or a dedicated off road monster, but now its more in the muddled range. I have not driven the LR3, and I am sure it is fine off road, but I just dont trust all of the computer aided driving found on it--parking brake button? Total traction control, on and on...whats the fun of off roading when the truck does it by itself? That said, I wave to any Land and most Range rover drivers I see, becaue I feel it is more a brotherhood and whether you are a first owner 94 Disco driver, or a 06 LR3, you are in my highly revered Land Rover family.....
