Off-Roading in MA (with Axel)

Just got back from a day of off-roading with Axel (AxelR). If anyone in the Massachusetts-area wants the details of the spot, feel free to PM one of us. We came across a lot of different terrain... Everything from deep mud to sharp rocks. The LR4's performed extremely well, as usual.

Axel is all stock and did just about everything I did without a problem. No rubbing in that pic, Kaaae!

Hey all,

I replied earlier but my post didn't go thru.

Yes, I'm all stock as Brandon mentioned. This truck is incredibly capable as is. I'm mostly impressed by the tires. After reading so many posts about how bad the OEM tires are I have to say that there's nothing wrong with them: quiet on the road and efficient off-road.

Unlike Brandon, I do not have Johnson rods and it never was a problem. However I might get some just because the LR4 looks so much better up high.

Brandon, I love the sound of your truck!!! I just can't say it enough.

Hey alexcorral,

The beauty of living in New England is that you are pretty close to most of the states. Back when I lived in CT (though it was further north than you), I would go to my parent's place in central MA every weekend and it was only 45 minutes away. You could easily head up to MA in a couple hours or less.

Next time I am in MA (likely in a couple months), we all have to meet up, though I won't have my LR4. :-(

Hey Brandon and Axel,

Awesome photos and I loved the video!!! That looks like some great off-roading terrain. I am so bumming I don't have my LR4 there to give it a try. Looking forward to it someday when/if I move back. I have to agree, Brandon's truck sounds awesome with his modified exhaust. So sweet!
