Once again pleasantly surprised by the LR4

We took off to New Haven for 3 things: Buying a desk & bookshelf for our home office at IKEA, having some famous Frank Pepe's pizza and going to the beach at Rocky Neck.

I was impressed after fitting all the IKEA boxes and stuff (we always find something to take home) despite having both child car seats (huge Graco Nautilus) installed on the second row and our always present travel kit (stroller & booster/feeding chair). I did have to fold flat the middle seat for the 4 foot boxes.

Once again, 5 stars fro our LR4

I remember Rocky Neck! I used to go there quite often. I will have to send you a list of cool places to see in CT.

The beach was beautiful an dthe campgrounds seemed like a fun plan, but the water was too cold for us caribbean swimmers

I sold our Discovery 4 TDV6 in Panama two months ago before moving to CT.

I am bringing over my 2010 LR4. I posted some pictures of it in action in Africa. Our plan is to keep the truck for the long haul (which is how I justified the mods). When it finally gets here, I will be needing to bring it in for a few issues which I couldn’t get done in Africa.
