Just came across the little harness for the knock sensors on my parts table. Back to the dealer for intake gaskets tomorrow...

As I continued on to other things wiring related I'm annoyed and stumped. The only connector in the vicinity of the oil pump solenoid is purple and white/green. My copy of the manual says purple and white/gray. The wiring leads towards the back bottom and joins up with the oil level sensor and CPS before going up the driver's side of the engine.

To make it all just a little bit worse, it looks like one of the pins for the oil pump solenoid is pushed in or broken. Going to have to investigate further tomorrow.

Post your VIN #.
I check the Land Rover manual for the
wiring orientation.

Tapa is going to send me another motor instead of me screwing around with the oil pump. This will all go twice as fast the second time.

I've caught back up to where I was and then some. Before I bolt the front prop shaft back in thought I'd ask if there's supposed to be a heat shield between the exhaust and transmission up in there like there is on the passenger side. I've looked through my bin of heat shields and nothing seems obvious.
