Outer Banks, NC Trails

I am heading to the Outer Banks and staying 8 miles down the beach from Corolla. Looking for some other areas that may have trails in the area besides the beach.

Go north young man into 4 x4 only.... you can drive up to the Virgina border on the beach, and there are back areas between the beach and sound on the way back Did it with a GMC Yukon and can.t wait till I can get back and do the areas that the Yukon choked on
