Anyone out there had to have their Rovers painted yet? Mine has several offroad war wounds that need some attention but most concerning is the hood and top of vehicle. Both appear to have lost color and clearcoat and the green has now faded into a off white color.

Not looking to spend a fortune but want a decent job .. what / who have you used?
(I might not be able to make it to the shop you used just looking for a generic body shop vs. Maaco response)

Thanks,
Neill

I used the same shop that the Land Rover/Volvo/Jaguar/MB dealer uses, a local company that does wonderful work.. but when you are painting aluminum it will not be cheap.

Actually LR covered the work under warrenty since it was rust around the Alpine windows, but Just fixing the rust and respray of the roof only and clear coat (and they did a wonderful job) the price was almost $1500 IIRC, but the owner also warranties his work for 5 years IIRC, so I would say it is worth it... it has been almost 4 since the work was done and you still can't tell it was resprayed or any rust work was done.
