H11 or H7 Bulb?

I have a 2011 LR4 that I'd like to replace the H and L beams from stock to the Phillips CV. Can you please confirm the bulb spec for me. I have read that some people have used H11 for the Lo beams. Is the manual incorrect in stating that it should be H7 for both? Has the bulb spec changed from 2010 to 2011 model years?

H11 for low beams and fogs and H7 for high beams. that's for 2010 and 2011. Not sure about the 2012.

I know I am a broken record, but have you considered going with the HID upgrade instead?

Yes I did. It's a personal preference. Not ruling out the HID for the future but for now the CV will do. Thanks for the replies.
