Desperately trying to find a well maintained ‘15/‘16 LR4. Found a clean car with 60k+ miles with an excellent service history via LR dealer. Most recent service per carfax shows engine compression checked. That seems odd for the mileage. Do I run or investigate further with seller in your opinion? If it was checked and fine maybe not necessarily a bad thing but why would they be checking? Any thoughts highly appreciated.

It does seem odd given the mileage. I doubt that it's on any service 'checklist' at that point. It was "recent" and now the truck is for sale?
I would investigate further..the why and the results.

Previous owner may have complained about something to warrant the compression check? Is a bit odd. Great to have service records, would not trust Carfax service records, and of course inspect yourself or pay for PPI.

I would still look for a 2012+ 5.0 V8.
