I bought one after nearly breaking my back (and bending a 3' breaker bar) attempting to remove a lug nut on my Disco (YES someone, not me, had way over tighten the nut). First time I used it I thought it was broken, could not detect any movement of the lug nut. However, after 9 or 10 easy lifts on the handle the nut spun free. Best tool I have bought in years.

Don't forget a giant soft faced mallet for SII Disco and 95+ Range Rover owners. :)

You bent a 3' breaker bar? I'd seriously be concerned that the studs were stressed beyond spec and could fail at any time. Take your breaker bar back to whoever tightened the lug nuts and let them know that they need to replace all your studs and lug nuts.
I've been working on vehicles for over 35 years and have never bent a 3' breaker bar, even on rusted trucks sitting for years.
