I just bought a 2020 TREK issue Discovery. It runs great. Love the ride.
Having trouble with getting the music that I have on flash drives, read by the infotainment system. I have it on removable flash drives. I have them formatted in FAT 32. The first time it worked after a short wait, then after starting up the vehicle again for another errand it didn't recognize the drive or said there were no compatible files on the flash drive. It seems VERY buggy. Is there a firmware upgrade maybe for the infotainment system? Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't work. Seems like there should be an easy fix for the price of the vehicle. Everything should work properly. The easy fix is to do it like everyone else and just use your phone and place all your music on your phone. I have other things on my phone that I need that space for so that is not an option. I would like to be able to have various flash drives for various music styles and also audiobooks. Maybe there is a special combination of flash drive and formatting that needs to be done. I have purchased new flash drives and have used old ones. Same results.
Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a defective USB port.
The dealership can replace that under warranty.
