I'm getting the "Restricted Performance" message, accompanied by rough idle. I turn off the motor and restart it and everything goes away, but it will happen on a regular basis. The codes are for the throttle body and pedal position sensor. I had the throttle body replaced only two years ago.

My question is, has anybody else had a similar problem? Also, can anyone suggest and alternative to another costly throttle body replacement?

have you cleaned your tb recently? If not, it’s an easy fix. Even the smallest amount of dirt can cause issue. You’ll get a throttle position sensor voltage out of range code (if I recall correctly). After cleaning, a recalibration/reset with gap tool is also recommended. I had an issue where mine was clean but because I had moved the plate in the tb it would occasionally throw a code and go into restricted performance mode
