Hi,
I have a 2002 Landrover Discovery II, 89K miles. My service engine light came on and my oil was very low. I did my 90k check about 1-1/2 months ago and hadn't checked my oil since then - my bad.

I topped it up with oil right away, but the light stayed on. I am running to autozone to have them get the codes, but wondering if anyone has ideas? I have had the car since new and never missed a service, but it seems to be crankier in its old age!

Thanks!
Wendy

First welcome to the forum... second... please always check fluids in any vehicle at least weekly, I don't care how reliable the vehicle is.... if something gets low you can ruin it.

As far as issues... give us the codes (write them down when they tell you) and we can help.

P0301 Generic Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected

Could be anything from bad gas, to needed to change sparkplugs, to you didn't close the gas cap all the way... just one code no worries. with this one.
