No Problem, I really appreciate the help. 2004 Discovery, 44k. Ran out of gas and light came on, checked gas cap, etc. All is well. Hate to give money to the dealer when I know nothing is wrong. Thanks again for the reply.

I would suggest getting yourself a OBDII scanner or going by your local Autoparts store (they may reset it for you for free). Just read the code and reset.
I am pretty sure the other post was on a D1 which the SES light means something else.
