silicone wiper blades

So i took my recently purchased 2003 SE7 on some light trails...nothing crazy just some easy trials with a little mud and steep incline/decline...anyway, the mud help me realize that the rover's wipers really suck. I have silicone wipers on my car and they are unbelievable. So i hear i have to buy Genuine rover blades, which sucks.

found this setup....anyone have any experience? D1 wiper arms on D2? you can put silicone blades on D1 wiper arms. thanks
