Sirius Radio not activating

I just purchased a used 2006 LR3 with sirius, and I having problems getting it activated. For some reason it wont let me tune to any station other than 001. It says the channel name and below there is a message to call sirius to activate. Ive done that, but it still wont allow me to change the channel. Has anyone else run into this issue. Thanks

I had the Sirius operator on the phone with me when I got my activation code. It did not take initially, Our Condo is near some overhead high voltage lines. Whe nI moved the truck a few feet south in our lot, the code took, we had signal, and all else has been fine ever since.
Make sure you are in a spot where a satellite should get a clear shot at your truck. It might help...just my .02 for what thats worth

Ive been trying in different locations and still no luck. Im starting to think its a radio issue, but I never get a bad signal message so im not sure. Thanks for the advice anyhow.
