Gang,

I had a piece of door trim that was coming off; It was bowing due to the metal insert and plastic expanding at different rates.. I tried to gently bend it back and it snapped.

Do you have any recommendations for a glue? I have JB Weld, 2 part epoxy, etc, but I wanted to see if anyone has a silver bullet for this kind of repair.. I also have trim adhesive, but that does not seem appropriate..

See the attached pic, and thanks in advance..

You have the answer...JB weld. you could get a very thin metal and brace it across both pieces from behind for extra strength.

That sounds like a plan.. I was going to save the JB weld to glue RyanJL's doors shut if he trades in for a G-Wagon, but I suppose I can get more..

Thanks!
