OK so this will most likely sound very strange but hear me out. My CEL is comming on and tripping a 1313 code. Heres the catch, it ONLY COMES ON when I turn on my a/c. I have tested this many times to be sure by having the light reset and then driving it for a week without any problems then as soon as I turn on the a/c within minutes it comes on. I did this test three times. I have talked to very seasoned discovery pros on other sites and on the phone and they are all stumped. The only advice that I tried was to clean my idle control valve which I did and this did not fix the problem. They have told me I need to go to a Land Rover dealer and have them check it out. The problem is that the closest is 300miles away! Anyone have any ideas? Please help

Misfire Catalyst Damage Fault Bank A

Two things, first have your battery tested, second if battery is good, have the Cats checked usually for free at your local Muffler shop.

The reason I asked about the battery, is because a battery that does not have a great charge it may trigger odd errors when anything starts drawing major power.

sensors

Even with the cats being new there is a sensor called the fuel temp sensor. The fuel temp sensor controls the ac condensor cooling after shut down. If it is to warm after shut down the cooling fans will kick on. This sensor also is used to increase the fuel injection pulse time on your injectors. This sensor is also controlled buy the ECM. This all might throw off your cats. Does your ac at least blow cold?
