As I said, if you strap it both to the back of the second row seats and down to the tie-downs on the floor, you should be okay.
If I were going to prep my truck in a serious way, I'd figure out a way to mount it above the cubby by the rear side window. When my wife gets home with the truck, I'll have a look.
