I will occasionally get a system fault when driving that causes the vehicle to lower, disables all terrain response settings, and pops up the rollover warning light. Also, the yellow "BRAKE" light will illuminate.
It happened to me twice when driving at highway speeds on a recent road trip and I'll probably take it into the dealer to investigate the error codes (5K left on the extended warranty).
There are two scenarios which seem to cause this. I will usually get a system fault after these occurr so I'm wondering if this is an acceptable error code. If so, I'll ignore it and avoid the "cause," if it shouldn't occur for these reasons let me know.
I will get a system fault if one of the following happens;
In all cases stopping the vehicle and powering down, then restarting clears the error condition. It is of course inconvenient to do on a highway trip and causes eye rolls from the wife, which is another problem entirely....
So, is this just a problem with debris and my toddler, or should this not be causing the error? It does seem that every time I've mentioned this to the dealer in the past, they find some sensor that needs replaced.

1) Sand will occasionally get on my center console and seems to get down around the yellow HDC switch, causing it to stick in the depressed state. (if accidentally pushed) For whatever reason, once I'm away and driving the computer will notice this and pop up errors. I have to find something small like a paperclip or credit card to slide down in the gap and pull up the yellow button.
2) My 2 year old like's to "drive daddy's car." In doing so, he'll sit in the front seat while I'm out of the car (I have the keys) and he pushes every button and turns every switch. If you have kids, you know the deal. Often, after one of these episodes I'll get the system fault. Again, it may be related to the button sticking because of the above issue.
