Houm, have you thought about making that monster complete with a front bumper?

Thanks Hammy! I'm just playin' along. Tough to convey tongue-in-cheek comments via text!

Duckie: right now the LR3 is in that config until I break something. I like the look of the A-Frame up front. If I taco my bumper then I'll ARB. Same with the rear (Kaymar). Until, then she stays as is and I save my money for a Faultmate!

I have a standing deal with the wifey that I can buy one accessory each year. Seems fair...2010 were sliders. 2011 may be Faultmate.

Care to reveal the location?
Here are the directions I got from a Jeep forum. Try to not hold that against me.;) They were very accurate.

The GPS coordinates to the trail head are:
37' 47.263 N
079' 06.173 W

VA FR 826 (for those that have a Delorme Virginia Map)

The trail head is near Alhambra, VA (so if you map quest it, you will see Perkins Mill Road. The start is at the end of Perkins Mill Rd near Alhambra on the right).

From Food Lion/Gas Station shopping center in Lovingston, VA

Head South on Thomas Nelson HYW / US-29 / VA-56 W (approx 4 miles)
Turn Right on VA-158/VA-56/Tye Brook HWY (1.1 miles)
Right on Roseland Rd (3.2 miles)
Roseland Rd becomes VA-655 (0.0 miles)
VA-655 becomes Roseland Rd (0.7 miles)
Sharp left on VA-151 / Patrick Henry HWY (0.1 miles)
Right onto VA-56 / Crabtree Falls HWY (1.8 miles)
Left onto Dickie Rd (1.6 miles)
Turn left to stay on Dickie Rd (1.0 miles)
Dickie Rd becomes Jack Hill Rd (2.0 miles)
Turn Right onto Perkins Mill Rd (2.5 miles) Stay right on Perkins Mill Road (<1.0miles) to Shoe Creek Trail Head

The many faces of my LR3

First pic I may have bit off more than I can chew. Thank goodness I read the manual and knew if you pushed both lock and unlock buttons at the same time the rear hatch opens, makes it nice not to have to climb out of the window.

Next is after a long cold day of pulling stuck motorists out of the snow.

Then the LR3 hard at work.

Lastly she is clean and parking in a low emitting fuel efficient only park spot.

This is very true, I was very impressed with the capability of my stock Kumho Road Venture APT and was pretty much trying to find their limit, and well lets just say I did. Twice.
