Hello,
I was reading that you could check the timing chain condition with the GAP IID tool. I followed some instructions and took some screenshots of the variable valve timing I found in the tool. The first image is at idle, and the second one is at 2000 rpm. Does this capture what I need or have I missed anything? If I did capture everything, what is the condition of the timing chain? Thank you.

I vaguely recall seeing something like this on an Audi forum. You're capturing the duty cycle, I'm guessing for some solenoid that puts oil pressure into the mechanism that moves the cam's position relative to the crank.

Just thinking out loud here, but wouldn't you want to capture the actual degrees at idle ? Since that would be an absolute measurement that shouldn't fluctuate with temperature, oil pressure (variable due to viscosity, age, etc).

Some info here. Not sure how reliable it is.
