Torn CV boot - dr side rear

What's the fix? I've heard everything from just replace the boot to I need to replace the entire cv/halfshaft.

Easy fix or expensive, involved fix?

Either way you have to remove the halfshaft. A LR Boot kit runs about $60. A Half shaft runs about $200.
