After receiving trans overheat and trans default mode message ,stealer recommended
transmission replacement.
Car has 73k excellent appearance not so excellent maintenance obviously..
Had trans replaced as recomeended only to have overheating message and high rev
situation recur.
Tried to select an independent to diagnose more fully the problem rather than symptom
and was recommended to replace radiator at 1k including labor..
After researching parts schematic determined trans cooling lines do not intersect radiator
as on GM spec auto trans but utilize auxiliary cooler only..
Now question is there a point that trans fluid may be filled other than at thermostat line
or trans side?
