tyre pressure

i am putting a set of nexen roadian 542 255/60/R18 tyres on my 04 disco td5,what pressures should i be putting in them?

Unless I am mistaken it calls for 28 in the fronts and 34 in the rears... but it is up to you on how much you should put it... I run 40 psi all the way around on my Disco.

40 psi seems a lot for the front tyres, uk specs state 28 front 36 rear

Been running 40psi on my discovery as well. Didn't care for the lower pressures the manual states .

The tire settings posted on the drivers door jam are more for comfort and not for better wear and mileage. I would run all four tires at 36 for a week or so, if you are OK with the ride them leave them there, you'll get batter gas mileage and the tires will last longer.
