99 Disco II with 115k miles

I do a lot of driving for work to remote areas in the US. Trying to avoid any common things that would cause me to get stuck in the boonies. It runs fine, replaced the water pump and timing belt at 80k, replaced the alternator at 90k. I'm thinking that I should be ok with new belts/hoses and canisters full of my tools and fluids. Every now and then the SES comes on, but I think the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned.

Any thoughts?

Also, any suggestions for solid affordable AT tires that won't sound like a hurricane on the highway?

I am sure you mean you changed the Serpentine belt, the Rover has a timing chain, the belt should be changed every 2 years.

I would flush the brake fluid every year, change the plugs and wires once a year.

Change the differential fluids, transmission and transfer case once a year more if you drive through a lot of deep water.

With 115k I would consider keeping a spare brake switch and maybe a fuel pump as a spare if in remote areas.

AT tires, I would recommend Bridgestone AT Revo's, I have used the off road and on pavement and have gotten good mileage as well as traction out of them. Very quite on the road and they work well in rain as well.
