Here is a new spin on an old topic:

I've had my sunroof drains clipped and my window cowling is looking good.

...but I just noticed a SMALL amount of pooled water on my passenger side floorboard, only near the edge. Is it necessary to clear (unclog) sunroof drains even after the clipping procedure???

Thanks.

Yes you should blow the lines out occasionally. I do anyway. Just to confirm where the water is coming from did you check the HVAC filter? If it's wet after a good rain I would say that it where the leak is...

Ryan, is the HVAC filter susceptible through the cowling? ...becase that looks fine. How easy is it to access the filter? Maybe we can look at it on Monday...

Open the lower glove box. Push in the detent stops and allow it to swing all the way down for access to the blower/fuses behind it. Once open you should see the access cover for the cabin filter. If it is wet when you pull it out water is leaking past the lower windshield cowl...
