D2 must be different than a D1, my 95 has Timken bearings that are cheap and easy to replace. To buy a hub because of bearing failing sounds fishy.
A loose bearing will cause a too big of sensor gap fault.
The 95 D1 with OBD 1 the motor and ABS faults can be read, repaired and cleared in the driveway, no stealers required.
