The daughter of a friend is gettting grief from the dealer about not having the right brake pads on the front of her '99. I suspect because they aren't Genuine...so, my question is, what pads are people using on their 99's?
On my '95 I got some from NAPA and am fine with them. They had the sensor wire on them, which mine doesn't use, so I just clipped it off. Does the '99 use the brake pad sensor?

Thanks,
Tom Rowe
Four wheel drive allows you to get stuck in
places even more inaccessible.

Does she need pads or is she having a problem?
There are other pads out there for less money, but they are a select few. D2's are heavy and under braked and need good pads.
Atlantic British has 3 sets of pads from OK to Great just depending on what she needs and how she drives.
By the way, D2's don't have sensor wires.
