Hello all,
I am new to this community but have been reading it for a year since getting my '06 HSE. Last winter I figured I'd drive through the season with the OEM Goodyears. I was not impressed with their cold weather traction.
My other car has a set of Michelin Pilot Alpins, and despite being a rear-driver I could do everything better (accel, corner, panic-stop) when driving on a lightly snow-covered or frost covered road.
I'll keep using the GYs for the summer, but I am now looking for a good winter tire. I do drive through 2ft deep snow from time to time with average winter temps down around -10C to -20C.
Any experiences out there? What do you recommend?
