Wonder how this will compare to an LR3? (for offroad driving)

Okay, its only a concept car, but pretty cool looking. I'd take this over an FJ. :)

...its just that, this concept car looks real enough that it actually might get produced. Some of the concept cars are so far fetched they are not even worth discussing. This looks pretty polished...

I agree - I think it is pretty sweet too. I'd like to see it come to market - and a Land Rover competitor to this makes more sense to me than the LRX concept they are looking at.

I agree-looks nice. The big test will see how they handle the details if they go into production. The H2 looked really good as a concept until I finally saw a production version-

Sorry I can't agree. I think it's ugly and doesn't fit into the mold of Land Rover's history or image.

It looks like an FJ and I think that the "copy-cat" approach should be left to car companies that don't already have an identity.

My $0.02....

In profile, I see more Jeep styling queues than Toyota FJ. Looks to be primarily a design exercise.

However, they could also be testing the waters for a future 2 door small Hummer model, to get some of that FJ and CJ market.

Agreed. Fortunately, it isn't a Land Rover concept - it is a Hummer.

I've been told it is in fact designed to somewhat resemble a vehicle from the Halo game franchise. I wouldn't know though, as I haven't played those games.

Interesting. In my opinion, this is right along the lines of a D90 - 2 door, fantastic offroad capability, great looks. I think a D90-like product from Land Rover would be fun to offer in the US again.

It's not supposed to fit the LR image, it's a Hummer.

My mistake ! I didn't see the little H3 logo on the side.

This fits in PERFECTLY with Hummer's image !

Hummer used to be unique and cool and capable....when AM General made it.

The H2 is lame and the H3 is worse....

I think its actually a little HX logo...number undefined.

I liked the H1 and H2...but really don't like the H3.
