Cops use extra-heavy-duty versions of zip-ties instead of metal cuffs.

Look through the front windscreen of a police car. There should be a pair of white plastic loops hanging on the rearview mirror. Thats them, Zip tie restraints.

Yes Cosmo .. I saw some today on my lunch in the cop car behind me. I think that would hurt my wrists.. Better stay outta trouble.

It's actually better than metal cuffs. They're cheaper too and perfect for situations where lots of people are being arrested.

LOL.. well metal ones will hurt them too, unless of course we talking about special padded ones, but then this is completely different topic :)
