LR3 headlights burning out quickly
I am careful not to touch the bulb during installation, and i do not see any moisture in the headlights. how do i check the resistance of the connectors? could this be a heat issue? has anyone run the headlights without securing the sealed cap on the back of the headlight assembly -

I am replacing my headlights every 3months, is that a common issue? LR3 has running daylights so the headlights are ON whenever the car is in drive. I am using GE Nighthawk Platinum - which are quite expensive for halogens, but so far have been replaced twice since Feb'10 under their warranty... -

Transmission & Special Programs Messages
I had a similar transmission errors issue when I first got my truck. The dealer replaced a rusted connector under the driver side (under warranty). I will try to attach a picture of the part. -

Where do you put your sunglasses?
Ditto to the glasses infront of the Nav The cubby infront of the shifter gets warm when the heat is turned on, so that's where the gloves go in the winter. -

Front emblem problem
Anyone has experience using the Autosharp Paint Pen - WESTMINSTER GREY (from Atlantic British) on the emblem letters- suggested by vladyshka13. Sounds simple to use, does it look good after the touchup? any pitfalls to avoid? -

BTW my experience with Canadian dealerships is that emblem fading / chipping is not covered by LR warranty because it is considered wear/tear (similar to a chip on the windshield or a dent on the wiper arm). The service advisor even showed me the discoloration that happens on the RR and RR... -

2005 LR# Changing front passenger headlight advice
I just finished replacing both front headlight bulbs on the LR3 after reading the instructions on this forum. I had to use the WD-40 and the looped cord trick (thank you Thorgal & Trynian) especially for the side tabs where there is no space for my fingers. I did not mess around with the clip... -

Service Reminder
Thanks for the responses, i was wondering about the Left reset key for a minute until I paid more attention to the Euro model applicability. I have a basic OBD-II tool: it reads/resent MIL codes, would that work? Or do I need a seperate IDS? -

Service Reminder
Hi, I am getting a service reminder on the dash while I am turning-on the engine. It seems to be counting down the days to the next "recommended" service visit. Does anyone know how to reset it? How do I know what service needs to be done, I only have 77k KM. Thanks for your help -
