    check the fluid but sounds like a bad tranny. good luck trying to find parts for it. they only come as an entire unit. you can look up codes and see if any codes but free wheeling in third sounds like the tranny.

    Oil Change

    5w30 regular oil works just as fine in the winter. I have a disco and it works fine. the filter can be purchased anywhere its not too expensive around five bucks.

    Want to add Bluetooth but I'm picky

    land rover actually has a kit for the bluetooth, check the parts dept. its not easy but they may have to order it from overseas and then install it for you with a new module that fits that. and no it wont be cheap. it will match up perfectly and synch with the system with no problems.

    it wont void your warrantee unless it damaged a part like your radio. then your screwd. but dont talk about the sunroof issue or else they will make you pay for it. and clean it off but not too clean or they might get suspicious.

    no vacuum pump on a disco two. but most likely take off the hose and you will see a split.

    look underneath the dash board on the pasenger side where the fan is. there is a sticker on it. if it is pink or green from a coolant stain then it needs to be replaced. plus if it boiled out it could have an issue with a head gaskets. 1.8L arent the best engine.

    hi, new guy here.

    heres an idea, check the fan and waterpump to see if its loose. if the water pump pulley is loose its an new waterpump. seen it happen a few tiems, they get loose and loose a bit at time.

    first off its a 0420, or 0430 its a new catalytic converter. I can tell you the problems if you give me the exact code, also your cruise most likely doesnt work cause the vacuum lines are cracked, look on the driverside and inspect them, if they are crack cut a bit and put them back on...

    I didn't realize the Goodyears were so bad!!

    I have been seeing alot of lower front ball joints go as well. kinda feels like an inner tie rod but sure as shit its the lower. chew the tires in the front up. but no it doesnt affect the rears, thats just the bushings.

    could be a simple 0455 caused by a loose gas cap. have it taken to the dealer and not the used car dealer to have it properly fixed and diagnosed. besides you might have a recall open or two.

    its a lockable nut, you need the key from the dealer. chances are they have a master set and can take it off for you and you can get a new one.

    ABS Shuttle Valve

    shuttle valve wont fix your problem. trust me, only works about ten percent of the time. what they have now ia an updated module and valve assembly for 750 bucks. and it works. so if it fails then oh well.
