The obligatory "Show off your LR3' thread

I thought I had seen it all, but this morning a customer pulled up at my warehouse with a 2007 LR3 completely coated with black Line-X bedliner. From a distance it looked like flat black paint, but as he drove closer... Out came my camera phone (sorry about the crappy photos, BTW), I thought they'd definitely belong within this thread:

Just the sheet metal. Next time he's around I'll get a better camera... You have to see it in the flesh, I have to admit it looks pretty unique even by car-crazy L.A. standards.

I think that look needs to continue into the headlights. I would disassemble and paint all the non reflective surfaces black too!! Overall I think I would have just done a flat black vinyl wrap so as not to **** the resale though.

i think that would make for a great trail rig. minimizes pin striping. a guy in our local club has a classic with black rhino liner up to the windows and then a matte black on the hood and roof. it looks sweet and is very nicely done. you can kinda make it out in the pic below.

Not a fan of rhino liner paint jobs. They have their place, but not on a rig such as this. I have seen off-road only toyotas and that was a good place. Just think of how much more this weighs over standard paint. Both the rigs above were fairly nicely done, but I won't be rhino lining anything more than lower quarters or the inside of my rock rig.

Thats the one. Although those headlights appear to be done on the outside. I have a set (Well actually only one is done) painted on all the non reflective surfaces on the inside. I did this to get on idea on weather or not I would like it. (I have HID's and would rather not try it on those until I know for sure if I would like it.)
