Hello all. I just purchased a 95 Discovery with 110K well used miles. This is my first Land Rover but I'm hoping that it will not be too difficult to work on.

Few problems I've noticed when I drove it home Sunday.
The passenger rear door does not open.
The rear windows don't roll down.
A lot of trim is loose and broken.
There is a misfire/hesitation under heavy throttle.

I'm sure there will lots of goodies that I will discover but I've been too busy getting my Cherokee ready for my labor day offroading trip.

Anyways, I'm sure I'll be spending time here often to get info and ask questions. Hopefully I will get familiar enough with this rig to offer help to others on here.

Welcome to the forum. Most if not all of your issues have been discussed in the Discovery section.

Here are some pictures which I took when I first looked at buying the rig. I don't think I did too bad for $700.

Nice find in Cincinnati for $700 wish I had seen it. I am in Liberty Twp and usually make some form of off road trip once a month or so... Let me know if you are interested in going out and having fun. I think our next trip is Mid Sept.

Dang! That looks like a nice rig for $700. The aftermarket parts alone would be many times that.

It is from Utah, the PO bought it and had it shipped here a little over a month ago for his son. His son can't get into it because he does not have full use of his legs. He paid 2700 for it plus taxes and shipping but just wanted to get rid of it I guess.

I've fixed the stuck door and the rear windows started working again for some reason. Surely the windows will fail again but I think I can fix them properly from the info found so far.

Joey.
I'm down in Reading, found the Disco in Madeira. Unfortunately it's mostly for my parents to get around when the snow is too deep therefore I don't know how much I will be able to wheel it. I would love to see how it performs against my Cherokee.

Still a great find, and even at $2700 it would have been a great deal.
