Anyone come across this? Cruising onto a freeway, the transmission isnt shifting from 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th. RPM's stay around 5k+ unless i drop it into neutral and back out., then it's ok. Any thoughts ?

What do your tires look like?

Does this always happen, or only when the headlights are on?(including DRL if programmed on)

Move the "not exact same" wheel to the rear axle. Since the circumference of that tire is likely different than the other ones (the front right in particular), the transmission translates the revolutions mismatch of your front wheels into your car being in a turn, and as a result it won't allow upshifts past 2nd or 3rd gear. Moving the smaller (or larger) tire to the rear axle so that the two front tires are of the same exact dimensions should fix the issue. Doesn't have to be a big difference, even two tires of the same original dimensions, where one is almost new and one is well worn, can trick the transmission into cornering mode.

If there is a substantial difference in overall circumference, you should consider getting rid of that 4th tire as well and use the same tire as the remaining wheels.
