$350 a wheel is pretty steep
So is $59 for a rub and tug. You pay for what you get.

That's not betterCompo's are $335 at Johnson Rods...
That's not better
Wow. You're still on that? Seems like you're pretty upset that I'm not taking your advice about going with 18's. It's my truck, let me do what I want to it.Better than 20's designed for pavement. So you think cheap wheels are actually any good? First time you bend or crack one you might remember this long drawn out discussion where people who have actually used the stuff tried to help you not waste your $ on junk.
Didn't you mention a shop that "only works on Land Rovers" ? Here's my take on that and this plan: if they actually are rover specialists, and they said "sure, we'll make this ***** work somehow" then they are acting purely on behalf of their bank account, not in your best interest.
The few shops I know of who truly are Land Rover specialists, even true 4x4 shops, would have tried hard to talk you into doing a far more functional and higher quality 18" wheel system.
There's even a decent steel wheel 18 that goes right on and they are inexpensive as well as designed for abuse. That nice looking 20 you linked is designed for posing basically, not for abuse where you can count on it. Being in Colorado, you have a lot of places that are so cool to explore that will just eat wheels like that. At the very least, they'll be scraped up easily.
Not even sure why you asked for anything on this forum because every step you basically just said "but i want this" so go do it. Waste your money, we don't actually give a **** if you don't.
I am in contact and I am arranging for the 18x8.5 Mudtech Raid wheels to be shipped in April. I will be the guinea pig
I will try to document the process and total costs along within fitting and any install issues for those who are considering. Mudtech has an order in with their manufacturer and is waiting for their supply.
I will let you all know as soon as I get them.
