My first letter arrived the other day. My VIN still doesn't show when running the recall check, so I'm guessing that hasn't been updated.
Mine did not at first either, but my dealer and letter both confirmed that my car is recalled.

Anyone know if anyones car has pulled a Ferrari (burned down) from this yet?

Is this a North America wide recall?
In Canada. Entered my 2010 LR4 VIN into the NHTSA website and came up with nothing.

Same, I’m in MD and talked to my service girl today, she said maybe 2-3 weeks before the new parts are in. Hopefully. I’ve had a leak for a few month. It’s very noticeable if I fill the tank all the way up

Non of our VINs are showing up in that database. If your LR4 is NAS and you have your current address on your title/registration, you'll be getting your first letter soon.

Got my letter this week, now I have to wait for that second one. The indy shop that did the repair for me a couple years ago reached out on their own and actually texted me a copy of their invoice for the work, very cool of them. It was a bit over $900 that I will be happy to have reimbursed. LR better not try and lowball it.

I’ve always wondered why there are burned LR4’s on the salvage auction sites. It seems like the majority are engine bay fires. Maybe the amount is consistent with other makes / models or perhaps the fuel filler neck is a legit hazard.

It's not the fuel filler neck that is the subject of THIS recall anyway. It's the flange that sits on top of the tank and is a part of the fuel filter assembly, and it's where the fuel line from the pump and the line out to the engine attach on the other side. It's flawed and develops cracks that leak fuel under pressure. So yes, the problem does create a legit hazard. Thankfully though I haven't heard of a fire happening as a result of it. Just luck?...or maybe it's just inherently not close enough to a convenient ignition source.

I'm not familiar with the tank design. Is there more than 1 flange / opening on top of the tank to be concerned about? Based on the diagrams it seems there is only 1 on top, with integrated filter?

Photos below are of the old/original style, I think. LR013750, OOS at most places, probably because it's being replaced with the new improved version.
