So it’s been over 2 years and I still get some steering wheel shake at higher speeds from 75Mph< I’ve done LCA’s sway bar links and mounts, rebalanced the wheels multiple times and still happens. The steering sometimes will go light when under moderate power (3500ish rpm) at like 70 ish mph. So I’m kind of stumped, do we think tie rods? I’ve had the suspension checked many times and everything looks good so I’m just at a loss as of now. I’ve got 134k on the truck, let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!

I had a lumpy wheel, turned out to be tread separation in the tire... Presumably you've swapped wheels front to rear, and the problem stayed with the front?

Not sure if these will help much but here’s the right and left side

Have you tried rebalancing the front wheels? If this is slightly off it can cause issues at various speeds depending on how far out it is.

Jack the fronts up and support with jack stands. Make sure vehicle nice and secure and then sit on ground straddling tire. Grab wheel at 3 & 9 and try to wiggle it back and forth. If you feel any wheel play it is likely the tie rods (inner and/or outer). Now grab tire at 6&12 and repeat. Any play here and you are likely dealing with wheel bearings.

I had the same issue my friend. I have a 2012 LR4 and I was going crazy! So I tried everything. Balancing the wheels, alignment, changed the calipers and rotors thinking it was something was acting up, changed tie rods, sway bar links replaced and sway bar bushings replaced.
It wasn’t until I replaced the lower and upper control arms that I saw the difference.
This can be costly very costly!
So I suggest replacing the sway bar bushings first. At 130k you can expect to have steering shake with them even if they tell you they look good and have never been replaced.

The bushings go for about $40-60 and If you are handy, It’s not a hard job to do if you have a jack and a couple of jack stands. It only takes about an hour or so.

OP says LCAs, links and sway bar mounts (bushings) have been done?

When I did this last I got motion with the 9 &3 grip however The motion I got was just the wheels turning right to left
