Dear everyone,

Need help to diagnose the root issue, not sure why the wipers are not smooth. Tried to clean and replaced blades.

Please assist.

Thank you

Typically it's the blades, but you've already replaced the blades with new ones. The next thing would be taking off the windshield cowl to inspect the wiper system. You might need to lube the pivot joints with something. I typically like a heavy duty silicone spray (leaves a clear film, invisible) or white lithium grease spray (leaves a white layer of grease, visible, but better protection).

Very hard to tell from video if dry wiper noise or mechanical unhappiness.
Did you try rainX? Not only makes you use the wipers less in general but makes the surface smoother for the blade.

once a year or every 6 months i apply the same wax you'd put on the car body. wax it on and wait like 15 mins and then buff off. All of this done after a thorough cleaning with soap/water/alcohol.

the blades run whisper quiet for a while until it needs to be done again. mostly garage parked and minimal rain events i'm good for a year.

Just another FYI, I noticed that my wipers are positioned to clear a little more of the windshield than yours, the wipers are typically mounted on a tapered and splined shaft; I wonder if yours couldn't be adjusted (by rotating them) so that when they're at the top of the ****** they get a little closer to the A pillar...
